This booklet was produced to foster conversation between the Vicar and the whole church family whom he visited one by one.
It was a new design for the project that didn’t go ahead (see Heritage Project 2012-2015 page 11)
The opportunity for an open conversation about developing a community hub, our priorities for the building and the likely funds available were explored with Mark Goodwill Hodgson’s new west end to consider.
The outcome was a clear understanding of our financial capacity and a commitment to developing the church building; this is recorded in the Statement of Need. Although we cannot afford the new west end shown in in this booklet, the design re-assured the church family that Mark had an intuitive and sympathetic approach to our classic church building.
