08:30am Holy Communion
09.40 am Refreshments
10.00 am Morning Service
Refreshments are available 20 minutes before the service to provide an opportunity to catch up and meet people.
Typically there are two Morning Worship and two Communion services each month, with some variations for fifth Sundays and observing special occasions such as Remembrance Sunday.
Every service will have two distinct halves - one reflecting an authentic traditional style (hymns accompanied by organ) and the other an authentic contemporary style (modern style songs led by the worship band). Services also include Bible readings, a 15 minute talk and prayers. We also offer prayers for individuals at the end of each service and a prayer box if you would like us to pray or visit a person you are concerned about.
We have two styles of Communion service: Our Holy Communion uses a traditional liturgy; and our Family Communion is more contemporary.
We use a mix of a projection system, service cards and hymn books during the services. We can also provide printed material for those with impaired vision.
There is special provision during the 10.00 am service for children from 0 to 14 years during term-time. (Please see the Families section of our website for more information about this provision). During the school holidays there will be an activity laid on in the Chapel when we are able to do this. On special occasions we will all worship together eg Mothering Sunday and Harvest.
